M is for MRI

Following an injury such as a fracture or broken bones, one can end up seeing a specialist consultant, having x-rays and a MRI.

For many the experience of an MRI is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, the size of the tube can be unsettling, and the noise is really loud, but there are more portable machines if you are fortunate enough to be referred for one of those.

This episode covers the experience and what one can expect if they are scheduled for a more conventional MRI.
